I spent 3 days in Mauritania´s famed Adrar Region. There, I visited a desert oasis, an ancient Trans-Saharan trading post and a huge field of sand dunes. This region only recently opened up to tourism and is very authentic. In fact, it is one of the most interesting places I have ever visited.
