I have been a lifelong adventurer. I thrive from new experiences, cultures, and challenges. I started this blog while studying at Washington University in St. Louis. Now, I live in Barcelona and am pursuing my MBA at IESE Business School. So far I have been to all 50 US states, 57 countries and all 7 continents. My life’s goal is to visit every country in the world and every US National Park Service site.
My style of travel is to keep exploring until I drop. I try to enjoy every minute of travel and dislike “relaxation time” or “days off”. I feel that because my time is limited, I try to jam pack in as many experiences as possible. While sometimes this means that the depth of understanding of a place can be limited, I counter that by trying to dig deep into the culture using my anthropological background and by talking to other travelers and locals.
One way I plan things is through lists. By creating tangible goals, I am able to budget my time and pace accordingly. Certainly, lists are only as good as the person/group who creates them, but generally they provide a good starting point for exploring.
Thank you so much for reading my stories! I hope you enjoy.
